Living on the road and playing clubs from "Austin to Boston", the Bel Airs are carrying on the tradition of American Rhythm and Blues. The band is fronted by brothers Dick and Dave Pruitt on bass and electric guitars. Growing up on country soul and rock-n-roll, the Pruitt brothers have developed a harmony vocal style all their own. They have been performing together for more than 30 years, wowing audiences nightly with their unique brand of music- leading one reviewer to refer to them as the "Everly Brothers of Blues."

The Paladins
The Paladins from San Diego California are the preeminent blues/rockabilly band in America. Founded in 1980 by guitarist Dave Gonzalez and bass player Thomas Yearsley, they have recorded five singles, nine full Length studio records, and three live albums. Along the way they built a solid reputation as one of America's hardest-working and best live bands.
RUTHIE FOSTER
9PM
In the tightknit musical community of Austin, Texas, it’s tough to get away with posturing. You either bring it, or you don’t.

If you do, word gets around. And one day, you find yourself duetting with Bonnie Raitt, or standing onstage with the Allman Brothers at New York’s Beacon Theater and trading verses with Susan Tedeschi. You might even wind up getting nominated for a Best Blues Album Grammy — three times in a row. And those nominations would be in addition to your seven Blues Music Awards, three Austin Music Awards, the Grand Prix du Disque award from the Académie Charles-Cros in France, and a Living Blues Critics’ Award for Female Blues Artist of the Year.

There’s only one Austinite with that résumé: Ruthie Foster.

SIDEWALK CHALK

“While many Chicago bands strive hard for originality, it’s unlikely that any of them could best Sidewalk Chalk...”

— Chicago Tribune

3PM
Mezcal Brothers
The Mezcal Brothers have been playing their brand of roots rock and rockabilly for the past seven years. Hailing from Lincoln, NE USA, The Mezcal Brothers have toured their way around the world playing music that's hot and cooking, rough and rockin', while staying true to the original '50s sound. What a ball!

Hadden Sayers
For most musicians, "the road" is a place of either hedonism or heartache. Contrasts on the far ends of a far too common cliché. But for Soul-Blues Guitar Slinger Hadden Sayers, the road is a comfortable buzz of underground fans and passionate shows.
7PM
Since forming 25 years ago, Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys have toured continuously and become torchbearers of American roots music. As a singer, songwriter, bandleader, and entertainer, Big Sandy has few contemporaries. With the release of What a Dream It's Been, Big Sandy is at once acknowledging and celebrating the successes of the past 25 years, while setting the stage for further exploration and interpretation of the musical forms he is most passionate about.

CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE
Fifty years of nonstop touring, performing and recording have reaped huge rewards. Charlie Musselwhite is living proof that great music only gets better with age. This man cut his (musical) teeth alongside Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf and everyone on the south side of Chicago in the early 1960’s – thank your lucky stars he is still with us telling the truth with a voice and harp tone like no other.

Charlie Musselwhite may be the only musician to get a huge ovation just for opening his briefcase. Fans know that’s where he keeps his harmonicas and they’re about to hear one of the true masters work his magic on the humble instrument.

Josh Hoyer
& Soul Colossal
"If James Brown and Otis Redding had a love child, it would be Josh Hoyer. The Lincoln, Nebraska, soul shouter, and his band of merry soulsters, Soul Colossal, deliver a sound so big, so funky, so wring-the-sweat-out-of-you energetic that it reaches through the speakers and shakes you until you start moving to its groove."
Josh Hoyer appeared as an artist on Season 12 of The Voice.
